My experience at DrupalCon Singapore was filled with a sense of excitement and optimism for Drupal’s future. The event had a diverse range of sessions that offered something for everyone, from seasoned developers to newcomers exploring the CMS for the first time. A highlight for me was the Diresnote, a keynote that set the tone for the conference, outlining the strategic roadmap for Drupal’s continued growth and innovation.
Equally impactful was the Drupal CMS Panel, where the project leaders discussed the current state of the project and answered questions about its future. These discussions help build excitement for the future of Drupal.
A Milestone Moment: The Drupal CMS Candidate Release Party
Another key highlight of the conference was the Drupal CMS Candidate Release Party. This celebration marked a significant milestone in the advancement of Drupal, showcasing the dedication of the global Drupal community and the success we have achieved over the past 8 months.
The event reinforced the power of Drupal’s community. Attendees had the opportunity to connect and talk about the progress as well as celebrate the future of Drupal. It was awesome to meet so many new people at the event and welcome them to the community.
The Splash Awards: Honoring Excellence in Drupal
I had the privilege of serving as a judge for the Splash Awards at DrupalCon Singapore, which recognizes outstanding achievements with Drupal. The awards celebrate the creativity, technical skill, community contribution and problem-solving prowess of teams and individuals within the Drupal community.
Judging the awards gave me a unique perspective on the breadth and depth of talent driving Drupal’s success. It was amazing to see so many companies submit their work and celebrate the impact Drupal is making in people's lives. This role was a humbling reminder of the passion and expertise that fuels the community.
